When first introduced performance t-shirts had a “coarse” feel. As technology improved, and micro-fibers were introduced, the feel of the shirts softened. Current performance fabrics provide various fabric blends that screen print and embroider well.
PERFORMANCE FABRICS are breathable, which allows moisture to evaporate off the skin (micro-wicking). Performance shirts retain less than 1% of their garment weight, whereas cotton shirts can retain up to 7% of their shirt weight.
