How We Prepare Artwork For Production

  1. Create:We are able to create an original graphic design or illustration
  2. Create through Stock Clip art: We have a large selection of our original clip art or owned clip art that we can use to develop a design concept.
  3. Customer Provided Design: We are able to edit and prepare a design for a specific printing or decoration method.
  4. Original Drawings:  We often scan original artwork and prepare the design for either screen printing, direct to garment printing, or for embroidery.
  1. We use current versions of CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop in creating and preparing designs.
  2. Wilcom is the embroidery software we use for digitizing embroidery designs.
  1. Crisp screen prints on garments need line/vector artwork. See above artwork requirements.
  2. This means the design can be sized for various uses with no change in the clarity.
  3. The ability to create color separations is needed for screen printing.
  1. Designs for embroidery most commonly start as or are converted to a line/vector format.
  2. The line art is then converted to embroidery stitches, digitized
  3. We have a large selection of stock clip art to which text can be added.
  4. We can digitize a design used for screen printing so that a customer uses it on jackets or polos, making it uniquely theirs.
  5. Occasionally, we do use a customer supplied embroidery design.
  1. This printing method does not require line/vector artwork.
  2. A 300 dpi or higher resolution gives the best results.
  3. Some editing may be necessary to remove unwanted background.
  4. What you see in an image is what will print.
  5. Photographs, drawings, jpegs all can be used successfully.

All original artwork does have setup charges.
Supplied artwork will have charges based on the quality of the design supplied.
Each method used for decorating a garment does have set up charges.
