Creative Graphics & Illustrations
Graphic designs and illustrations are the foundation of customer satisfaction. It is the first step of a successful project. We pride ourselves in producing products that reflect our customer’s design vision. Our art department is able to create line art/vector artwork or you may provide artwork. Quality screen printing, embroidery, and direct to garment printing require quality graphic designs and illustrations.

Line Art/Vector vs Bitmap/Raster Image
Artwork Guidance When Emailing Design
We need a line art/vector file to produce quality prints.
- Send a vector file as an Adobe Illustrator
( .ai or .eps) or a CorelDraw (cdr.). - A PDF file (pdf)created from Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw, with all properties maintained may be sent.
- Please ensure that all fonts have converted into outlines or curves.
- For proofing purposes please include a JPEG of the artwork.
- If you are unable to provide artwork in one of the above formats we will provided an estimate of our charges to format and edit correctly.
How We Prepare Artwork For Production
- Create:We are able to create an original graphic design or illustration
- Create through Stock Clip art: We have a large selection of our original clip art or owned clip art that we can use to develop a design concept.
- Customer Provided Design: We are able to edit and prepare a design for a specific printing or decoration method.
- Original Drawings: We often scan original artwork and prepare the design for either screen printing, direct to garment printing, or for embroidery.
- We use current versions of CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop in creating and preparing designs.
- Wilcom is the embroidery software we use for digitizing embroidery designs.
- Crisp screen prints on garments need line/vector artwork. See above artwork requirements.
- This means the design can be sized for various uses with no change in the clarity.
- The ability to create color separations is needed for screen printing.
- Designs for embroidery most commonly start as or are converted to a line/vector format.
- The line art is then converted to embroidery stitches, digitized.
- We have a large selection of stock clip art to which text can be added.
- We can digitize a design used for screen printing so that a customer uses it on jackets or polos, making it uniquely theirs.
- Occasionally, we do use a customer supplied embroidery design.
- This printing method does not require line/vector artwork.
- A 300 dpi or higher resolution gives the best results.
- Some editing may be necessary to remove unwanted background.
- What you see in an image is what will print.
- Photographs, drawings, jpegs all can be used successfully.
All original artwork does have setup charges.
Supplied artwork will have charges based on the quality of the design supplied.
Each method used for decorating a garment does have set up charges.
